SOFTWARE COMPONENTS

The MUSE™ software supplied with the system is pre-loaded and ready for operation. The software includes the following items:

The Linux® operating system integrates a graphical desktop environment and graphical configuration utilities to make system administrative functions easy to use and intuitive. The visual database provides highly realistic visuals that simulate the physical environment with geographical realism.

COMPRO’s MUSE™ software provides:

• HUD and scoring views
  
  
• Six Degrees of Freedom (6DOF) flight model
  
  
• Realistic atmospheric models (wind speed and direction, fog and haze, atmospheric turbulence, etc.)
  
  
• Example tactical models for unguided weapons (that is, a user-selectable predetermined payload which includes a combination of bombs, rockets, and bullets)

• Example aircraft systems:  Simple engine, Electronic Flight Control System (EFCS), Weapons Control Panel (WCP), Weapons Aiming System (WAS), Partial navigation system Multi-Functional Control Display (MFCD), GUI Interface and hot keys
  
  
• Engine and warning sounds

The simulation environment typically provides the following training capabilities but can be enhanced for your training needs:

• Day and night normal operations
• Day and night take off and landings
• Air-to-Ground Weapons delivery
• CCIP mode for guns, rockets, and bombs
• CCRP mode for bombs

In addition, the environment offers pre-flight planning, flight navigation, landing, and attack modes of operation, and multiple views of the mission flown during mission debriefing operations, as desired.
