Post subject:  Install issues with the OpenIG Demo data loading custom path

If I install the demo data onto my "D" drive and not let it use the default "C:" I have issue when starting the OpenIG Demo....

Here are my changes for the default.txt on Windows 7 for you to see changes in RED below:

#Linux/MacOS
#addentity 1 /usr/local/database/model/A320/A320.obj 0 0 45.9 105 0 0
#addentity 0 /usr/local/database/terrain/OPEN_IG_Demo_NO_UTM31N_r5/master.flt.osg 0 0 0 0 0 0 -1.20639e+06,-5.099e+06,0

#Windows
addentity 1 d:\OpenIGdata\bin\data\model\a320\a320.obj 0 0 45.9 105 0 0
addentity 0 d:\OpenIGdata\bin\data\terrain\master.flt.osg 0 0 0 0 0 0 -1.20639e+06,-5.099e+06,0

manip 1 trackball
tod 20 0
......... rest the same ....

here is what happens.

1. If I go to START > OpenIG v1.0.0 then it loads fine and I see airplane on ground. Can move around etc....

BUT >>>

2. If I go to START > OpenIG V1.0.0 Demo then it loads the OpenIG with splash screen but all white in background with no A320 model or terrain. I see stats and HUD text in bottom left so the IG looks to be running with no data...

I think there is a bug in the DEMO setup if it is installed in any other location besides the C: default..

Thanks
K

Did not work for me. Does not matter if I am using drive C, D or F ... Maybe because I am using an ATI card. The IG or DemoIG are not showing the models, only the blue screen. Also, It can only work in WIN XP SP2 mode. Running on a WIN 7 PRO x64 with Lite binaries for windows, Radeon 6800, 16 GB RAM.
Regards,
H

Hello all.

The developers are working a new release to address the path issues for the installer and a ATI texture issue. This will be uploaded to the web for download shortly. You will be notified as well when you can download the fix by email.

Thank you.
